There are lots of fun events planned in celebration of Anton’s 150th Birthday and the 40th Anniversary of the Open Theatre!

The other Extant Chekhov Open events include a staged reading of Chain of Deed, Andy James Hoover’s new
play inspired by the Cherry Orchard; Chekh-Impr-Ov, a full-length, completely improvised play in the style of Anton Chekhov by The New Deal; and Playing with Chekhov, a solo performance by James Kiberd, directed by Nancy Gabor. All performances are at the Gene Frankel Theatre, March 26-April 11.
